Recreating an Order
In most cases an order will be created correctly the first time, however, there are some cases when an order may need to be recreated which include:
- the support team may ask for an order to be recreated
- changes may need to be undone
- the information provided by the eCommerce site may need to be reset.
Recreating an order will delete the existing order and all shipments within the order. The order will be recreated using data from the eCommerce site.
Care should be taken when recreating orders. Orders should only be recreated if there is a good reason to do so. |
To recreate an order:
- Open the Ship Orders mode. How?How?
- From the grid, select the order that will be recreated.
- Right click the mouse and choose Recreate Order from the menu. A new order will be created. It will have a new OrderID, therefore, it may appear in a different location than it did in the current sort.
