Some sites, including eBay, now prohibit duplicate listings.  Getting caught with duplicate listings will cause the user to receive a warning and could affect the user's seller status, therefore, duplicate listings must be prevented.  SixBit can assist users in preventing duplicate listings by not allowing duplicate listings to be submitted.  In the event duplicate listings get through, SixBit can also help you identify them.

SixBit can only identify duplicate listings if all listings are in the SixBit database.  If listings were submitted with another tool and have not been imported into SixBit, then SixBit will not know abou the other listings and cannot identify them as duplicates.  Likewise, if you list with multiple userids and not all userids are being managed by SixBit, then duplicate listings across those ids cannot be identified.
