Entering Listing Upgrades
Each eCommerce site may offer optional listing upgrades to be purchased in order to make your listing stand out from the crowd. For a complete list of the upgrades offered for each site, refer to the table below.
Site | Link to Upgrade Info |
eBay | http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html#upgrade. |
Listing upgrades can be chosen from the Listing Upgrades tab.
Presets Shared Across Sites
Although each site has its own set of listing upgrades that may or may not be available in any other site, SixBit defines only one list of presets for all sites. Think of a preset as having all possible values for all sites, but only the values available on a given site will be displayed.
For example, eBay has bold, value pack and international site visibility among others as possible listing upgrades. bidStart supports bold, highlight, border, etc. Each preset users define will contain the superset of all possible listing upgrades. i.e. bold, value pack, international site visibility, highlight and border.
Assume a user creates a preset called Bold Highlight and turn on the bold and highlight options. When they use the Bold Highlight preset on the eBay tab, it will enable only bold (since eBay does not have a highlight upgrade). When they use the Bold Highlight preset on the bidStart tab, it will turn on both bold and highlight.
By sharing preset values in a "super" preset, it prevents the user from having to create multiple presets for each site.
In the Listing Upgrades group, you can:
- manually enter your chosen listing upgrades
- save your settings for future use
- apply saved settings
- edit saved settings
- create, duplicate, rename, delete, or reorder presets
