Open a ticket. They’ll get back to you pretty quick.
You can’t delete old listings without also deleting all other records for that item, including sales and the item itself. It’s just the way the database technology works.
Great, thanks!
Yes, I more often than not sort on SKU. However, I haven’t been experiencing the serious lag in several days. I believe the culprit is Acronis Backup. I experimented with turning on and off some of the background tasks I had running and the lag seemed to disappear, for now at least, after I disabled Acronis. Unfortunately, now I don’t have regular backup running. BTW, the actual backup was never running at the time I was experiencing the lag. The task was just sitting in the background.
I’m attaching an example of what is interfering with processing my orders this morning. If I open an order record and then close it, I see the attached screen for a couple minutes before it changes to a little spinning ball with the “SixBit Not Responding” message at the top. I can’t take a screen shot of that. Then it sits that way for at least another 2 or 3 minutes before it finally unfreezes or I kill SixBit. I’ve tried closing all other applications and ending unnecessary tasks. It doesn’t always happen. I thought Chrome was causing it for awhile, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I stand corrected. I’m still seeing a significant lag, sometime lasting minutes, even without any application besides Outlook running. It’s inconsistent. It can happen in any grid or view in SixBit.
I believe I’ve zeroed in on the culprit in my case – Chrome. If I have Chrome open with multiple tabs, SixBit bogs down to the point of being unusable. I haven’t played around with it too much yet, but it seems OK under Edge. Unfortunately, I really prefer Chrome, but I may have to switch.
John, I’m experiencing a lag in the In Process view. I just went into SB and did a refresh to bring in a couple orders that hadn’t come in yet. I had a total of 6 orders. After more than a minute looking at a blank grid and the spinning circle, I killed SB and reopened it. Then the grid appeared. However, as I mentioned above, I have also had times when I closed and reopened SB and still had the lag.
When might we expect beta .120? The lag is driving me nuts. It can, but not always, take forever to load even a 1 or 2 row grid. I just waited at least 30 seconds for it to load my orders view. This occurred just after rebooting my computer and with only SixBit running.
I hope the next beta clears this up. I’ve also been finding for quite a few releases now that views can take a very long time to appear or refresh. Usually, closing and reopening SixBit clears it up for awhile.
When you say when the order came in I presume you mean the date the payment cleared, not the sale date. There can be a couple days difference at least.
I’m a retired IT guy who gave and received tech support going back to 1974. These guys are the best I’ve ever seen.
I don’t believe so, but why would you want to do that when it’s so easy to go to running listings, filter or do an advanced search, select your listings and cancel?
I do it quite frequently. For example, I might be submitting 100 items, each with 10 photos. That can take a long time to submit, so I open a 2nd instance to do other stuff. Have never had a problem.
I’ve been having intermittent problems with SixBit refusing to upload pictures. Sometimes simply closing and reopening SB fixes it. Sometimes I have to reboot. Sometimes shutting down some other apps fixes it. It acts like it might be memory related, although I have 32gb of RAM. I haven’t seen a message about reauthorization. I’m running beta .061.
