@TurtleCove
Did you not read the whole post? I asked if anyone else was having the issue and covered exactly what you are talking about…
So, anyone else having the issue??
No response must me it isn’t possible?
Should I submit a feature request of some sort?
You must not be paying for the support package…
Download your inventory from eBay in a .csv format and print in MS Excel. I have been doing it this way for years and it works great.
This isn’t a bad idea, however the point of listing like this was to avoid pre-bundling and taking the guesswork out of what bundle size would be the most desirable for whatever item it is we are selling.
It would be nice to see the Priority Regional Rate A & B boxes added to SixBit. eBay does support these box sizes and we are currently selecting Medium Flat Rate for these items, however Regional Rate is what we have been using instead.
No, we don’t host our own images.
I opened a support request and one of the techs suggest that resetting my computer might help because he thought that it was a time sync issue between my PC (SixBit) and eBay.
I rebooted and the message in the screenshot below came up. I followed the directions and eBay refreshed its Account Settings with SixBit.
So far everything seems to be better.
The way it is done by most of the software that does support it is a tweak to the inventory control which allows you to “build” other items from a base inventory item. So if you have a 100 cables which are item A, you could have a set of 5 cables which are item B but are actually “built” using 5 of item A. When you sell item B it takes 5 of item A off your inventory.
I’m sure I’m not the first person to bring this functionality up. I recall having to build something basic like this in programming school. I am sure it is way more complicated especially when integrating existing systems.
Even still, I wish SixBit worked at making their program the strongest possible tool for eBay instead of moving from platform to platform. I’m not opposed to the other platforms or anything…I just never felt like the development of the eBay version was finished.
Oh well…some day I guess.
Actually, I just figured it out. My issue was in the domestic shipping section. I guess I accidentally checked the “domestic shipping rate table” box. Please see the attachment below.
Bueller?
Yeah, that doesn’t make it any easier for us….I just do one listing and hope people buy as many as they need or inquire about bulk sales.
So is this a feature that may become available in the future? Should I submit a feature request?
I feel like having this as an option could help a number of sellers significantly.
I didn’t notice it as it is not even a hyper link…When people go to read forums they go to read topics and titles, not the stuff that is under the forum name.
It just seems like a simple thing to throw on the SixBit Support Page that is built in to SixBit instead of having to come here and get the location and then go there.
SixBit recommended to us that we use Kompozer and we have tried switching back to WYSIWYGAMITN…every time we go to Kompozer. I highly recommend it.
I was more asking so that I don’t have to click through this whole forum just to find this link you left me. Hence why I was suggesting that it be placed on the Support page within the SixBit app.
AVR is here.
