293 acting worse than 292 it just keeps crashing…

does anyone here know would re-install to previous stable version affect the profiles, presets and settings?

For some unknown reason drag and drop is working again even tho nothing changed since yesterday, but we expect it to stop working soon.
These recent constant crashes are forcing us to stop using Sixbit.

This is the error window we are getting, sometimes there are more than one stacked behind each other.

We’ve had 20+ crashes on newest beta. Drag and drop just stopped working as well. Update is urgent.

Ok thanks, until I find easiest solution with variables this will also work.

Brandon pointing out to SixBit permissions gave me and idea and made it to work…
…so I just found out there is some issue in Windows 10 with drag and drop.
Read somewhere that it could be because (SixBit) compatibility mode has Administrator rights always on which I didn’t have time to uncheck
since I first ran SixBit in Windows 8 compatibility mode and now drag and drop is working, finally.

I thought I might be some special kind of stupid that people tell me to drag and drop and I can’t.

Was searching for any options that I missed that could have cause this,
only to find out that I’m not in Beta program so right now I’m installing 135 Beta and we will see if it works.

Thanks, it makes sense now since I was using [Workflow] and you are using [Repository] tab
but it still won’t make me drag and drop like that I’m getting the Ø when items are over exact same position.

That probably works in version 134 that you are using and not 118 that we have.
or it’s the difference Small Business Edition vs Enterprise Max Edition ?

my pictures folder name is today’s date say [07-Feb-17]
picture names are IMG_20170207_0001.jpg -> IMG_20170207_0100.jpg

how and which variables should I use to make it to work then?

edit : first thing that came to my mind yesterday about variables was renaming the pictures/scans by foot which is the same kind of work in the end.
so I guess this just won’t work with variables, since my items are not generic…

and what about first answer, can you please explain how this can be done ?

I scan 50 items (each item has 2 pictures – front and back)
and now I have 1 folder with 100 pictures

in Sixbit [Sell Items][Under Construction] I make folder with 50 items (with no pictures)
How can I put command to put every 2 of the 100 pictures on each of the 50 items?

pic 1,2 – item 1
pic 3,4 – item 2
pic 5,6 – item 3
pic 7,8 – item 4
pic 9,10 – item 5
…
pic 99, 100 – item 50

Would be really cool if there could be custom shortcuts menu in preferences for us to configure.

We use the standard Windows ribbon bar which comes with its own hotkey structure. If you hold down the ALT key you will see letters appear in the ribbon menu as you select letters submenus will have letters. This is how the ribbon bar provides hot keys.

Thanks didn’t know that because I was also asking about keybaord shortcuts before.
but the most used tool for me Quick Duplication (ALT + 1 here…) doesn’t work fast enough because it opens drop down menu with DQ Quick Duplication and DC Custom Duplication which is stuck (or you have to press Enter then) and shortcut is almost useless. 🙁

You can try to stop and start SixBit agent service in Task Manager, worked for me a few times when I had this problem.
