I am using Sixbit 3.00343. I want to revert to version 3.00.085. If I do a backup, can I restore all the items and transaction to the old version without losing any client or transaction information?

I want to go back to the old version because of the private checkbox. I do not want to do things in three steps. First schedule with eBay, paying a fee for that. Than go into eBay and change all listing, one by one, to private, and finally reschedule.

Yeah checking all those boxes is waste of time really, Sixbit should save time tho…

It’s been more than a year since I read this and still want to try it out as soon as we get a server.
When that time comes I will post how we did it but I want to follow MOE instructions completely as it seems as best solution to me.

I didn’t even try it yet but almost sure that I will have problem with that.

So far I’ve been using only Teamviewer to check on employees computer what they did and do Submit myself (on their computer and their login profile) after the check-up is done.
I would not recommend this to be done with employees that you do not know personally, trust or have regular contact with. Would not allow any employees mess with Submit button.
All that with separate Sixbits on 2 computers not connected to each other, separate database but same account.
It does mess presents and some other stuff profiles being called but does not mess the settings themselves.

Does tracking User Activities work now for you as it supposed to?

Confirming slow and random lags.

Slow has been there for some time now.
Can’t exactly remember when but I think version just before the Image Editor window was changed that Item Window can be used with Image Editor window open.

Image editor loading times are slow, and we use it only to zoom images to check details of Image.

Does anyone else has random spikes when using Next Item arrow?
We are experiencing this for months now. It happens from 1 to 10 times a session.
Just random lags that could last up to minute when switching items through Item Window arrow. It goes into Not Responding mode but does unstuck in 99% of cases with Not Responding greyed out window lasting up to minute. This is happening on two different computers with different Sixbit versions exactly the same problem as well as loading times.
This is an issue for us and does affects our efficiency.

We don’t use this feature in Sixbit but if you meant Packing Lists I just checked for you and it is showing correct customer details including First and Last name,
as well as Print Postage / Carrier Labels. This is In Process orders that has been paid for and waiting shipment.

We won’t bother taking off the watermarks even tho we have originals as well, would take too much time to replace them.
So we will start from scratch if we are forced to remove listings with watermarks. And the policy is stupid.

Little hover window works for us even in latest update.

In Category Chooser line you can either enter keywords or exact category number and press enter it will work and I personally like that but
don’t like the new history that shows last 10 categories used even if they are the same. Before it was 10 last unique categories used which we liked better.
History wasn’t working yesterday but today it does.

At one recent version you could not see the category if it had more than 3-4 subcategories. Glad that is fixed.

We now use two most recent versions (no more beta ever) on different computers because of major issues with newer updates.

I’ve just given up on this forum because it is messed up…
Even tho I wasn’t user back when it was an old forum I gave it a glimpse and it still feels better than this one.
New forum just doesn’t do it justice.

And no one except you, MOE and “a person” can talk constructive here, at least from what I saw and had interactions with.
Excluding the SixBit staff because this is “User to User discussion board” as John said it.

As you can see from thread titles these are/were 99% unresolved problems an sea of questions being asked, there is not much of discussion here.

We were having same issue before and again. So I’m not trusting refresh anymore.
This made a mess to our listings and caused us trouble of overselling items.
Now we check random sample before re-listing and hope for no duplicates, since checking ~2500 listings one by one, found “only” 2 listings that were about to make mess again.
Also switching auctions to fixed price listings makes more duplicate listings that keep slipping through after relist.
