Thanks for the rapid response to this feature request! I’ve been a Blackthorne / SixBit customer for 10 years and one of the main reasons is your excellent customer service. I wish ebay listened to its customers (sellers) as well as you folks!
I am now receiving this message when uploading 30-day fixed price listings: “Warning: (21920214) Only Good ‘Til Cancelled duration is supported for fixed price listings.” Any progress on a solution to this? Setting GTC listings to automatically end after 30 days when uploading seems like a good route to go.
I second this! I came to the discussion board just to post this same idea! I sell OOAK items and would like the ability to end listings after 30 days to review and re-list. Possibly have SixBit automatically end listings on the day they are scheduled to renew on ebay?
Thanks John. I’ll wait until payment fees can be gotten from ebay as I need those for consignment sales.
I am still having this issue as of 6:48 AM EST.
I use templates. It seems that somehow the folder locations in the templates got messed up. I never changed them, so I don’t know what happened but it seems to be fixed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
This was fixed in one of the newer beta versions. Update to the newest version and all new listings going forward will be correct. To revise running listings use the Revise > Send Revisions to Site command after selecting/highlighting all running listings.
You can also use ebay’s find/replace command. Select all your listings in Seller Hub > Edit > Edit Fields > Description. Then do find http replace with https. I did this before SixBit was fixed and it worked fine.
According to ebay this is a phased rollout. So even though you’re opted in (as I am) it may not be working yet.
“If you click to opt in and aren’t selected as part of the initial group of sellers, don’t worry! You’ll be added to our wait list. Review the requirements (which are definitely good ideas for successful selling anyway) and keep an eye on your inbox. We’ll email you when it’s time for you to activate.”
Here is another screen shot with the Identifiers tab selected. I don’t see a checkbox for variations.
Will it be possible to use the “Send Revisions to Site” command to change all listings in bulk?
Yes, the tags are still being inserted into all of my listings between the span tags, which ebay doesn’t allow. The fix didn’t work for me. I’ll open a ticket.
That is most unfortunate. Any revision through SixBit re-inserts the non-compliant HTML comment tags and . This then forces me to manually edit listings on ebay to remove these so the mobile summary description displays properly. I am not manually editing all of my listings on ebay again. The non-compliant HTML tag issue REALLY needs to be sorted out. Having the proper item description displayed is critical. I am basically unable to do revisions through SixBit because of this issue which is unacceptable.
Sally… What I want and what the ebay tags are supposed to do is extract a block of text from your full description to be used as the mobile summary description. In my case I want the paragraph Item Description to be used and other paragraphs like Shipping Info and Payment Info to be excluded. I don’t see how your code does that. Do you have an item number so I can see it in action?
My full item descriptions are mobile friendly and display fine when the link on the first page is tapped. What I am concerned about are those ebay generated summaries that show first and which many buyers never bother to tap to see my full description.
What’s the latest on this? Is ebay now allowing the comment tags? Can you elaborate on how the fix works?
Thanks for the response, but that doesn’t help me as I have no idea how it got into my wrapper or live listings. I didn’t put it there. I don’t use any type of video. So how did it get there? I guess I’ll just do an edit of my wrapper for all live listings after the Mobile Summary Description gets sorted.
