Unfortunately, this does not work for me. After installing .754 I get a pop-up stating version doesn’t match database and I need to update. I click no, and am then asked to select database. I do this and am then told to restart SixBit… and the cycle begins again. I am never able to open SixBit without updating. Same thing happens on the server. How are you getting around this? I seem unable to roll back.
I’m going to roll back to .754 for now. This requires an uninstall and reinstall. It’s been a while since I’ve done this. What all is lost and needs to be reset? If I remember correctly customized create item windows will need to be recreated. Is there any way to save these prior to uninstall?
I only have agent tasks enabled on the server. My backups have been working normally without issue.
I just updated to .773 on my server / main workstation and 2 client computers. I don’t see any difference. It took approx. 2 minutes to load SixBit on my laptop. Not as bad on hardwired client, but never had issues in the past with laptop. Network actions are very slow on both clients. This may or may not be related to a ticket I have about slow loading of photos when inserting in a new item that started with .770 I believe.
Have there been any updates on this issue? I’m hesitant to try .773 if you haven’t noticed any improvements.
I did not receive notification of a new beta .773. I also do not see it listed on the beta release notes page. I will try it when I can and post results.

I am also experiencing extremely long launch times and very slow network performance. Using .771
I was experiencing the same issues. Updated to .771 hoping for a fix , but it’s worse.
These discount sale items were selected manually. The selections were not based on any specific rule. I solved the issue by bulk updating the Notes field to contain the word SALE. This allows me to easily find the items.
So there is no way within SixBit to sort/segregate/search sale event items or listings?
Thanks for the info. Guess I’ll stick with SQL 2014.
Hopefully I won’t need to purchase a new computer for several years after this recent replacement, but I will file that info for any future need. Luckily, I took a screenshot of the item window which made re-creating it easier.
I’ve been using the default SQL 2014 with Windows 11 for over a week now with no issues. Just curious if there are any performance benefits to upgrading to a newer version of SQL?
On a side note… it would be nice to have users’ Item Window layouts saved/backed up so they do not need to be re-created when re-installing SixBit. As far as I know the save as default in that window doesn’t have the option to save to a backup location.
Has the SQL upgrade guide been completed? I don’t see it in the documentation area, but maybe I just missed it. I just purchased a new desktop with Windows 11. SixBit is up and running using the default SQL 2014, but according to Microsoft this version is not supported in Windows 11 (see photo).
I was not in the GSP program. I did some testing today. First, I removed all other international shipping options from the preset on a single listing and revised through SixBit. When I checked the listing on ebay with a Canadian postal code it said no shipping to Canada available. I then reset the listing and edited it on ebay deselecting other shipping services. This time it did default to ebay international shipping. It seems there is something with the way SixBit is communicating the shipping info.
The cost to the buyer shown was higher for the new program than ebay international standard, so I probably won’t end up using it anyway.
