Hi John:
So…. Sixbit will not be working on Mapping such very close item specifics such as the ones below ?
“Size” is now “Bead Size”
“Length” is now “Item Length”
“Width” is now “Item Width”
This seems like a very easy coding / mapping issue for Sixbit to solve compared to all Sixbit Users having to manually edit Item Specifics for large masses of items with such very close Item Specifics Fields …
In our situation, we will have to manually edit close to 3000 items to only enter the “Bead Size” item specific when we already have the old item specific field “Size” filled in…
One of the reasons we have used Sixbit for 20+ Years (back to the days when it was Blackthorne) was to assist us with easily keeping up with such changes as this…
I opened a Ticket Id #937283 and Steve responded back however I have discovered some issue in regards to Items Specifics and Sixbit at this time…
Please find below a copy of the Message I sent to Steve Lea:
Thank you for the reply…
The category and sync of item specifics did not really work well yesterday until eBay was finished rolling out the item specifics for all of the category updates….
I synced the categories and item specifics this morning, then highlighted all items and refreshed as directed, most everything seemed to populate but I noticed some issues:
We primarily sell beads and jewelry making supplies and have been on eBay for over 20 Years…
Jewelry & Watches>Jewelry Care, Design & Repair>Jewelry Findings
Jewelry & Watches>Loose Diamonds & Gemstones>Loose Gemstones
Jewelry & Watches>Loose Beads
I believe these Item Specific issues are occurring due to the fact eBay is now calling the field something slightly different then what it was called before…
For example:
“Size” is now “Bead Size”
“Length” is now “Item Length”
“Width” is now “Item Width”
I hope this information helps and the Sixbit Team is able to reconcile the issues with some of the Item Specifics now having been renamed something slightly different so these fields can automatically be populated when refreshing Sixbit as to avoid having to manually enter the data for these now empty fields for thousands of items….
Please Advise.
Hello John…. Any updates from Sixbit regarding item specific updates ?
Same problem here… Wheel just spins when revising and listing items… have to Control / Alt/ Delete to force Sixbit to close and restart…
Seems like the API issue with eBay… Very similar to the big API Problem we had with Sixbit in the Fall of 2019…
Started the last few weeks but got really bad over the last couple of days…
As of last night items that are sold out (Zero Inventory) are not automatically moving to the out of stock folder. All settings on Ebay & Sixbit are correct for this function to be working… Has been working fine (forever) up until last night… two items sold out overnight and did not move automatically to Out Of Stock folder… Even after refreshing each out ouf stock item individually it does not move it… It does move it to the out of stock folder if I revise the item with Zero quantity… Please Help….
