I use SixBit for feedback, but not mailing labels or messaging. What information are you looking for?
Bump
Thanks, John, but that’s not what I’m asking. I don’t want a listing to relist on eBay even if there’s still inventory. I need to manually control listings on eBay in order to keep the total number of listings per month within the number of free listings I get. I list items for 30 days, and then don’t list them again for another 60 or 90 days. The Etsy listing can auto-renew by Etsy. I just can’t see a way to have an allo plan do this. I do, however, need SixBit to keep the 2 sites in sync if there’s a sale. BTW, I don’t have a quantity of more than 1 of any item that’s listed on both sites. Everything is OOAK.
Am I completely misunderstanding how it works?
Found a workaround, but it sucks. SixBit will only import a shipping option (preset) from etsy if it is already in use by an etsy listing. In other words, SB won’t bring down all of the options that have been set up so that listings can subsequently be created in SB. So I’ve gone into running etsy listings, changed the shipping option to one I want to import into SixBit, import all etsy listings into SB, and then go back to the etsy listing to change the shipping option to what it should be.
This is extremely cumbersome with some 16 or 17 shipping options I want to set up to mimic the presets I use in eBay.
Bump. I have the same issue. I can’t get the etsy shipping template dropdown to populate. I’ve done the Sync Auxiliary Data and even imported my etsy listing, but can’t get SB to pick up new templates created on etsy. I’m running 3.00.374. If there’s been a solution to this I wish someone would post it.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.
The wonky hit counts have been an intermittent eBay issue for years. They never seem to permanently fix it.
Sometimes I’ll test a Batch Change on just one item to make sure it does what I want it to.
No, that’s the way it works. Drives me a little nuts, too.
Most of us would consider such a feature to be dangerous as removing an item from the repository also deletes the sales records. Are you sure you want to do that?
I was one of the most active members on the old forum, but almost never come here because it sucks so bad. My annoyance at this software has overcome my desire to help fellow members. It’s a shame because the old forum was a great resource.
The IAF Token error has returned. So has the unhandled exception errors when attempting to reauthorize. I’m running .241, so apparently the fix didn’t last.
Everything seems to be working now. Thanks.
I got the token error again. When I tried to re-authorize I got a whole series of “failed to be refreshed. Error: Unhandled exception”.
Exiting and restarting SB did allow the listings to be submitted.
I’ve also been having major problems. The IAF token error seems to have been resolved by reauthorizing, but now nothing is being refreshed. It’s particularly problematic in not bringing down new orders.
Edit: I hadn’t noticed Nabachandar’s reply before I posted. Manually refreshing listings with orders does bring the order down into SB. I’m now in the process of running a manual refresh on all of my 3500 listings. It remains to be seen if there will be a problem going forward.
Edit 2: There are still problems. I have listings that were submitted yesterday, before upgrading to beta .240, that SixBit does not recognize as running. Doing an import from eBay doesn’t do anything. As a matter of fact, it appears that nothing happens at all when clicking on Import From eBay. No messages or any indication of activity. To get SB back in sync with these listings I had to cancel them in eBay and resubmit.
There seems to be workarounds for all these problems, but it’s one thing after another.
