Actually, the Enterprise Duo is almost 3 times the price of the Small Business Edition, so you’d better be sure that you really need it. I’m still struggling to decide if it’s worth it. What I really wish is that they had a Small Business Duo for those of us who list on 2 sites, but don’t need the bells and whistles of the Enterprise Edition such as allocation plans and analysis reports. I’ve suggested it, but they’re not interested in offering such a package.
I just the sales tax report for 3rd quarter and I don’t know where you’re getting the tax rate. It is correct in eBay at 6.625 and in my SixBit profile it’s 6.62. But on the sales tax and sales analysis reports you are using 6.65.
Bump. It’s sales tax time and I’d really like this to get fixed. I would like to be able to run an accurate sales tax report.
Etsy shipping presets don’t import for me either. I currently have a ticket in regarding several issues with the Etsy interface. This is one of them, along with some others such as shipping costs not being populated, revision dates not being populated, Etsy allocation plans not working (not syncing with eBay), and an error trying to mark Etsy sales as shipped. Either there’s something wrong with my configuration or the Etsy interface is not yet ready for prime time. I’ll post the findings.
While SixBit is back up and running, it won’t refresh the orders that came in while it was down. I’ve set the refresh dates back 2 days, but a full refresh won’t bring down the new orders. I don’t know if this is related to the authorization problem.
We seem to be back up and running.
I can understand it being eBay that caused this problem, but I don’t find it acceptable that SixBit is dead in the water because of it. I can’t even do anything with Etsy. A failure in one sales channel shouldn’t prevent us from doing anything in others.
Great! Not that I found it too big a deal once I figured out the trick. Just yesterday I had the 3rd cancellation in just a couple weeks of an item that had been paid for.
Since I can’t use the allocation plans at all, and don’t need the analysis reports, it would be nice if you provided a Small Business Duo package for something like $59.99. An extra $65 a month for a total of $99.99 is rather exorbitant for just the ability to list items on Etsy.
Bump. This may seem like a small thing, but the sales tax report is just wrong if you don’t provide an additional decimal point.
Once you’ve canceled the paid item on eBay, go back to SixBit and drag the item from In Process to Awaiting Payment. Then you can cancel the item and it gets returned to inventory as unsold. It’s kind of a kluge to fool SixBit into thinking the item hasn’t been paid. I agree, SixBit should provide a more direct means to cancel an item that has been paid and then canceled before shipment. It happens more than they apparently think. I’ve had to do it twice just in the past week or so.
Have you submitted a ticket?
What I do is go to the Seller Hub and look at the number of free listings I have left for the month. If I’ve reached my max and I don’t want to pay any more listing fees, I don’t submit any listings. This method is trickier if you’re using an allocation plan and having items automatically relist.
This is the answer I got from SB support:
“The two options are tied together and should be tied together. The End Listings when Out of Stock only applies when A. You have Out of Stock enabled on both eBay and in SixBit in the Profile, and B. Actually physically Run out of Stock in SixBit. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option in SixBit to do what you are trying to do.”
The allocation plans seem to be designed to synchronize multiple sites only if all your listing are GTC. There’s no way to get it to work right if you’re running OOAK items on 30 day cycles.
I’ve temporarily downgraded my SB subscription again until I can figure out a good way to handle this. I’m either going to have to synchronize sites manually when there are sales or not spring for the extra $65 a month for the Duo Edition and just enter Etsy sales as over the counter sales. The latter is not really a good option because I’d like to submit listings to both sites from within SB.
It’s a pity that SB can’t be more flexible.
Feedback is left in the Ship Orders tab. There are built-in views for positive feedback received but not sent and for feedback not received. Highlight the items you want to leave feedback for and then click on the Leave Feedback button in the ribbon menu at the top of the screen.
I haven’t had any problems with scheduling, so I can’t really help you there. Admittedly, I don’t use it much. I’d suggest putting in a ticket, unless someone else here can shed some light on it.
I don’t pay much attention to the number of buyer questions showing in the Dashboard. I respond to questions by clicking on the Respond button in the email I get from eBay, so answering questions is strictly done in eBay. SixBit is never in sync with eBay as far as questions are concerned. Periodically I go to the dashboard and simply mark all messages as read.
I don’t know why the Dashboard would show orders to ship if there aren’t any. I’ve never seen that. Again, I’d put in a ticket.
