John, any thoughts on the scope of walmart integration that you might do? i.e. limited to order processing, or are you planning on offering listing creation as well? if you are going to do the latter please consider adding support for walmart lagtime functionality.

Yes, that’s what I meant. I’ve given up on getting the latest ship date from sixbit, and now we just calculate it in our middleware before inserting the order into our WMS.

Its hard to blame sixbit for this particular development, as ebay is not sending the latest ship date when sixbit first imports the order… that only appears 30+ minutes later.

the problem is more than the time zone correction (which by the way is a looooong time coming. i told you guys about this last summer!). The real issue is ebay doesn’t always supply a ship date right away. It can take an hour. By that time the order is in sixbit, and unless you manually refresh it, it won’t update on its own.

Sixbit needs a reliable fallback to the latest ship date from ebay. It shouldn’t be hard to calculate, as it’s based on when the order comes in (PDT) and the handling time on the listing.

new orders are still coming in with the wrong tax/payment amount in 4.00.032. Refreshing them doesn’t change anything.

    I have had a ticket open since 11/13 (#753689).

the issue persists in 4.00.032, which I installed either yesterday or the day before…

I think I have installed 3 or 4 updates since November chasing this sales tax fix. Still no go.

Our ERP will pull paid orders from sixbit as long as they don’t have a balance. As a result some orders will sit and not import until an adjustment is added in sixbit to make it think there is no balance…

On other orders it imports but shows an overpayment in the amount of sales tax ebay collected (that we don’t get of course).

It’s a mess that has been going on for close to 6 weeks now.

There has been a problem with the latest ship date in sixbit ever since it was implemented. This is due to a time zone translation problem.

EBay sens the latest ship date in a date time format, with thr time set at 23:59:59 PST. I’d you are in a different time zone this date is translates to the next day (by an hour or more depending on your home time zone). I went back and for with sixbit support on this for months before I gave up and just modified the stored procedure we use to pull sixbit orders into our wms.

Maybe something has changed sine the version we are running (3.00.344 I think). I only upgrade when there is a compelling reason and there’ll hasn’t been one for a while.

This is already possible, just not in the UI (or it wasn’t the last time I tried which was around June of 2018).

I wrote some scripts to dynamically change variants in sixbit and push the changes to eBay, and deleting variants ia one of the features. The data lives in our erp and changes flow out to sixbit… The changes are made directly in the sixbit database.

IMO the variations implementation in sixbit could use an overhaul. I find the concept of variation sets archaic and limiting. I was able to work around it by creating and editing them on the fly, but it wasn’t much fun, and performance is not good.

That fixed it here too… Bte this issue is not related to a new sixbit release. We are on 3.00.344

you would need to run two instaces of sixbit, each married to a different database. if you intend to use the agent on both, they would need to run on separate computers (or in a VM) as the agent can only talk to one DB, and only one instance of the agent can be installed).

You would also need to find a way to keep the inventory in sync between the two instances, if that’s an issue for you.

Other than converting live listings or existing items, I got everything else to work, including adding new variations to existing variation items. This is not supported in the sixbit UI, but I wrote some SQL scripts to automate it.

I added a feature request to delete variations when marked inactive, instead of just setting to out of stock (ebay supports deleting variants). Hopefully that will be implemented soon as well, that will bring this full circle, for me, anyway.

yep, as i figured. i wasn’t planning on using this to describe the condition anyway. just yell at the buyer to read the item specifics and description. oh well

Don’t you guys have the pictures on disk, and an excel file with skus and image names? Just import that and check the update running listings box, and you’re done.

IMO, if you’re a small seller, you don’t really need sixbit. I have always found their pricing to be the biggest bargain in the industry.

What you are asking for is not a feature request. Its a request for a discount.

As Nicholas said, you don’t like the price, don’t buy.
