What sort of computer are you running SQL on ?

Apart from the 10G database size limit SQL Express is effectively limited to around 1G of ram and 1 cpu socket or 4 cores so unfortunately you are limited in what you can throw at it unless you upgrade to SQL Standard but I would have still expected better performance than what you are getting.  At the moment I am running across a 100mb VPN connected to our server which is about 5 miles away in the office and page loads are under 5 seconds. In the office we have 9 workstations with at least 5 in use at the same time and the only real slowdowns are when I try and do a bulk revise or something similar.

What we found helps. SQL is on a dedicated server that is not used as a workstation. If it is on a workstation that you are using then it has to split its time between what you are doing and serving the other workstations. As mentioned the limitations of SQL Express means there is no point throwing extra power/memory at it as it is limited in what it can make use of . Anything beyond an i7 with 16G of ram and SSD hardrive is probably wasted but uprading your network to at least 1GB and having all the workstations connected using 1G ethernet would be high on the list of suggestions.

Does it work correctly the first time you try and list the item ? (without trying to preload the photos etc)

Etsy allows 10 photos however SB used to only allow 6. This was fixed so you can add 10 when you are doing a new listing but wondering if it is still failing at 6 when doing a revision or it is counting both the existing photos and the new ones you are trying to upload which puts it over the max number of allowed photos ?? .I think it is part of the same problem when you try and upload image changes. It does not seem to know which ones are new and which are old so ends up missing some and having double ups of others. I never seem to find time to document it and log a support ticket so just go to edit the listing directly from Etsy and manually remove all photos and then load them again which seems to work.

Any suggestions on how to change a listing from custom duration back to GTC without cancelling and relisting ?

    Thanks

Australian sellers must have reacted worse than others..

In addition to the announcement below the original AU version of the “Fall” update has also been modified to reflect that effective from Dec 1st 2017 the original announced changes will no longer be enforced

***Update regarding our Picture Policy enforcement*** 01 December 2017 | 10:22AM EST

In September we announced that listings with watermarked images (adding a text, image, logo, border or graffiti on photos) would be removed from eBay search results from 1 March, 2018. As a follow up, we want to let sellers know that we will not be enforcing watermark removal as we had originally announced.</p>
We still strongly recommend sellers remove all watermarks from their listings. We know that buyers want to see products clearly before they make a purchase, and watermarks can deter people from doing so. Watermarked images can lead to Google and Facebook rejecting these products, meaning less visibility for listings and decreased conversion.</p>
    >Thank you to sellers who have already removed their watermarks. With the removal, their images will be accepted in Google Shopping search, their products will be featured in our product-based shopping experience, and they’ll be considered for our deals and seasonal promotions.</p>
As always, thank you for selling on eBay.</p>

    Regards,
    The eBay Team

We have the same issue but not with all IDs.
We have 7 eBay IDs and for some reason one of them is still working but the rest are dead
    All Etsy IDs still work.

We have another issue with the printing templates. It seems that all our custom templates have been scrambled with the orientation changed and the label sizes reset

eBay is one site, Etsy is another and Amazon is another.
We have 4 or 5 eBay accounts (lost count but 4 that are active) plus 3 active Etsy accounts.
Number of accounts will depend on what version of SixBit but with Enterprise or Enterprise Duo I don’t think there is a limit on eBay or Etsy accounts (only 1 Amazon)
If you are using multiple sites you will need to go to Enterprise Duo
