As Chuck demonstrates, the Sales Tax entry is at the bottom and you need to expand the Sales Tax expander to see it. Please note that your sales tax info for calculating sales tax on eBay sales must be set on eBay. These settings in SixBit are only used when calculating manual over the counter sales.

Please don’t read more into my post than there is. We were approached by Walmart about an integration and we hadn’t really heard many requests from sellers for WalMart so I simply wanted to gauge interest. Walmart has not jumped ahead of anything in our plans.

    Current plans concerning marketplaces are:
    – Finalize Etsy beta and release
    – Add support for listing non-ASIN items on Amazon
    – webstore integrations

In addition, we’re also working on a Purchase Order feature.

That’s as far into the future as I’m willing to prognosticate. 😀

Unfortunately the inventory report can currently only be sorted by ItemID.

That original post was referring to our ability to batch change prices on running listings and have them sent to eBay automatically. This was completed long ago.

    1. The guy in the upper left corner is from the Classic SixBit skin. In the new skin, it is the “File” button, although as Chuck mentions, the Import is now on the Sell Items ribbon bar.
    2. The calendar was removed. We need to update the Getting Started video for the new UI changes.
    3. If you use “SixBit Scheduling”, it will not appear on eBay. It will stay in SixBit until the time it is to be listed.
    4. Go to Options|Sites and make sure “Etsy” is checked. Once checked, you’ll have an Etsy tab on the item window and you’ll be able to specify Etsy as a site to list on in the Submit window.

I can’t replicate this issue here. Can you open a support ticket with this info and please include the version number you are running and the exact steps to reproduce the problem.

On the Variations window, you can right click any of the variations and mark them as “Inactive” to remove them from the list.

Express One has negotiated deals with the USPS to be able to provide the discounted Priority and Express postage rates. Unfortunately, the low cost of the First Class postage prevented them from negotiating a deal for First Class postage as well. There just isn’t a big enough margin there for it to be practical for them.

in reply to: Can you rename a database? #5860

The name of the database is intrinsic to the database. It is not derived from the filename, but rather it is stored as part of the database. The only way to rename the database would be to open it up in SQL Server Management Studio and rename it there.

in reply to: Change A SKU #5891

SKU is the one field on an item that uniquely identifies it both within SixBit and on eBay. If you are using the eBay Custom Label field for the SKU, and iIf you change a SKU on the SixBit Item, then SixBit will think it is a different item from the one that is listed on eBay and will no longer keep them in synch. When you change the SKU in SixBit, you must also manually change the Custom Label on eBay so the next SixBit refresh won’t create a new item.

Did this buyer purchase the items at different times and later combine them? If the items weren’t all purchased in the same transaction, SixBit will need to get all the transactions and combine them. If the packing lists are created before the buyer is done with all activity or before the orders have been imported into SixBit, this can occur.

    David,

Please submit a support ticket with the details. After moving the images to your hard drive, you should have still seen thumbnails in the grid.

With the Small Business Edition and above, we integrate with Endicia Label Server for printing USPS postage. Please see https://www.sixbitsoftware.com:8080/robohelp/robo/server/general/projects/SixBit%20EN%20User%20Guide/Setting_Up_Endicia.htm for details on how to set up Endicia.

Do you host your own images on your own FTP space? It looks like there could be an issue connecting to your FTP site. Could it possibly be full or are they maybe having an issue?

In all honesty, this wouldn’t be an easy addition and I can’t see it becoming a priority currently.
