Matt,
I’ve taken a look at your ticket. It looks like the last suggestion was an uninstall and reinstall. If it still occurs after that, then we’ll set up a remote session. Also, in the meantime, if you need to make description changes quickly, you can go to Options|Creating Items and choose a different editor. You can use Notepad or any other editor that you have installed. Kompozer is a good free editor. I would be interested to know if you get the same issue with other editors.
We open the duplicated items now due to user requests. Users wanted the item to open after duplicating. Because of the linked navigation between the grid and the open Item Window, whenever an item is open, it must also exist in the currently viewed grid. If you are duplicating from Previously Listed, the new item will go into Under Construction. We wouldn’t be able to open it in that case. The solution is to create its own view. This also works very well when duplicating multiple items at the same time. All items will be in the new view and you can simply navigate back and forth between them to make changes.
The behavior can be reverted to the way it worked before by going to “Custom Duplication” under the Duplicate button and unchecking “Edit new item after duplicating”.
Matt,
After changing to eBay hosting, go to the Check Listings window, select the running listings to be changed, then click the Revise button. On the window that opens, you can check the “Resend pictures with Revision” option.
This is fixed in the recent full release.

In the latest full release, the tagline no longer has a link. After upgrading to the full version, you will need to select all the running listings and force a revision on them. We’ve done a little research on this lately. I was hoping there would be an automated way to remove the watermarks. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like there is one. Watermarks by their very nature are designed so they can’t be easily removed.
The best solution I found was something like this: https://www.webinpaint.com/how-to-remove-watermark-from-photo , but that requires you to actually highlight the area that is watermarked, and could take longer than just taking the new pictures.
If you need to take new pictures, you can streamline the process with a webcam in SixBit. You could do a search on all items where IsWatermarked is true, then use the Batch Picture Editor to delete all the pictures. Then you can select a group of pictures, click Edit Item and use the webcam to take your pics directly into the SixBit database. Then just navigate to the next pic and do it again. I know this could still take a long time for thousands of pics.
At the very least, obviously you should turn off the option to watermark the images now so new images don’t get watermarks.
We are nearing a beta of the Amazon NonASIN items feature. Once that feature is completed, we’ll be moving on to webstores.
The date is stored at the time of order creation. Future orders should all be good. To fix an older order, try right clicking on the order and Recreate it.
Luxe,
I looked up your subscription and it says you subscribed yesterday (9/13). Are you getting this to your email? If not, please send me a PM with the email address you are expecting it at.
Chotli,
From the Check Listings mode, Revise|Send Revisions to Site will force any Description Wrapper or Preset changes up to the listings.
This error was occurring because the new token was expiring every two hours. The new beta 3.00.241 automatically retrieves a new token as it needs it.
We think it is related to the token expiring. If you exit SixBit and restart it, are you good for another 2 hours?
Nabachandar,
We haven’t been able to duplicate the issue yet. All our token checks are working from here. When you say that you are seeing the same problem as Bob, which problem are you referring too? Please provide as much info as you can.
