Do you have more than 10 pictures? Ebay can take up to 24, but Etsy only 10. We’ve seen this happen on revisions where new pictures are added to an Etsy listing and old ones are still up on site. Could you edit the listing on Site and remove all the pictures, then send the revision from SixBit again? It should send up the first 10 again.

You should start seeing notifications for board posts, part of the server upgrade affected those.

Hi Mike,
Did you try revising from the Revise window or the Main Check Listing grid? The IDs message would seem to indicate the grid didn’t have any rows selected prior to revising.
Which version are you currently running?

This isn’t a customizable option. You could just use the Item Weight to set the preset with either shipping service selected on the Item record prior to listing or to Revise current listings. An Advanced Search/View to find Items of 13oz and under to batch change assign first class or above that to use a Flat Rate envelope.

Hi Troy,
Do you have multiple business profiles/seller accounts set up in SixBit? If you do, you should be able to set the Item to any of them. If you open a support ticket from the Support tab in the program, the team will be able to follow up with more detailed help.
Thanks,
John

We’ll look into adding a filter or flagging of Fitment containing search results. The sending of pictures is just for re-uploading of them, the links on the existing pictures rows in SixBit are always necessarily sent as part of a Revision. There is a stock photo bug currently with some Motors categories that we’re looking into.

Hi Gary,
Currently we don’t maintain a discrete Product type list, we just pull that list from the Shopify Items already created. I’ll add this to the list of possible future enhancements for Shopify.
Thanks,
John

Hi Mike,
Looks my reply never posted. Just to clear up, any Item in the database will show in the Repository. There you can organize them into folders where they remain until manually moved. Think of it as a warehouse and the folders as bins that contain grouped items. These same items will have statuses, which dictates where they show in the Workflow view which helps track them as they are created, ready to upload and finally listing completed. Workflow changes automatically from Awaiting Upload or Under Construction status to Previously listed upon submission.
If you delete an item from anywhere, it will remove the Item from everywhere. But, if they are in an upload list, you can remove them from the list, but they will remain in the Awaiting Upload Status, the parent status shown. So if you drag it to Previously Listed, it will be in the Repository. If it’s in the database, it’s in the Repository.
The unique thing about lists is that they can each contain the same item. So if you listed 3 day auctions you could have a list for “Sunday” and a list for “Wednesday” and have the same items in each. Or a Christmas list, a Winter Decoration list and the same item in both. Still just one Item in the Repository, still just one status, Awaiting Upload, but in multiple lists.
Why don’t they disappear when I highlight them and choose “Remove from all awaiting upload lists” ?
They should, if they are in the Fixed priced list. But they will still be in the parent Awaiting Upload list. If they don’t vanish immediately, try changing views to make sure it refreshes.
If you need more clarification, open a support ticket and we can set up a remote session to demo or answer questions about managing Items.
Thanks,
John

Hi Mike,
If you wish to put them in a different status, you can drag them either to Under construction or Previously listed. If you do want to list them next month, you could also create an upload list just to stash them there until you’re ready to list them. The existing Auction and Fixed Price lists are just the default ones, most subscriptions will allow you to create your own. In your example, 11 are in the FP list, while they are also included in the Awaiting Upload status total of 35. One Awaiting Upload Item can also be in multiple lists. If they are in no lists, they still will be in the Awaiting upload status.
For example, if you have a Christmas item, it could be in a list for Fall listing and Christmas specific. That’s the major difference with upload lists. The other two Statuses can have substatuses but only one item can be in those.

Hi Michael,
Try resetting the grid layout for that view, or selecting a different layout to see if the grid will load.

If neither works, open a support ticket and we’ll take a closer look to diagnose the issue.

Don,
Yes, Buyers will still get those notifications.

Hi Don,
The anonymized email is only returned to us within 2 weeks of an Order via the API. I haven’t been able to confirm how long it will remain active, but some sources have reported up to a year. You should be fine emailing after a few weeks.
According to eBay’s Release notes, it should be the same email for transactions between you and the Buyer.
Unique alias email addresses will be used for each buyer transaction. The same alias email address will be used for all transactions with the same buyer.

Hi Shane,
The guide isn’t yet updated, but if you’re running with 2014 on Windows 11, you should be fine. If you had any issues, our support team can get it corrected or update you to SQL Server 2019 if necessary. Open a Support ticket if you want us to upgrade you, but 2014 will work fine for SixBit.

We’ll get the Year Made updated for the next beta build, 4.00.468.
Thanks,

Hi Albertine,
Automatic name is usually recommended so you don’t have a picture with the same name managed by two different items, and it makes them easier to find in the case they are missing from Item but searchable in the External Picture directory. The Picture URL field in Items is searchable, so if you have a SKU and that is in the name, it should be able to locate the item using that Picture.
If you want, open a support ticket and our team should be able to get your picture paths restored via a remote session.
