Hi Andre,
Was this just a bug in the mobile app? I’m not seeing the issue now with your items.

Hi Chris,
What did you use for search text? If you have a UPC, but that in the ProductID field and click the search icon next to it.
You should be able to find an exact match. The Betas out now should also allow you to customize the search text right in the Item Research Window.
If you’re still having issues find the correct products, open a support ticket and the Support team can help you directly with a remote session if necessary.

This can be caused by a Windows update and a restart may be all that’s needed to fix the issue. eBay has also been having some technical issues that may have affected the connection, but you shouldn’t need to refresh your token. If you it again and the restart doesn’t fix the issue, open a ticket with support.
Thanks,

The Item record contains the common information to each Item. The individual Site tabs in the lower half of the Edit Item Window contains the Site specific information for that Item which is then copied to your Listing record at the time of creation. The duration and scheduling options are added from the Submission window. The Item can be edited and listed on other sites in the meantime, while the Listing will remain unchanged. Likewise a Listing can be revised on an individual site without affecting the master Item record.
The problem you will run into with multiple Listings is eBay is transitioning to the Product based views, so you will need an unique catalog identifier(EPID,UPC or other GTIN) for each item and duplicates from the same seller won’t be allowed. If there are other sellers using the same product you will share the same catalog product page. Your individual listing information will only be shown if the Buyer clicks on your individual listing page, which is shown below the main Catalog information. As Amazon requires an ASIN to list, eBay will require an EPID. If there is no Catalog Item, and the Category requires one, you will need to create your own Catalog Product.
Once you have a Catalog Item you will only need to set a price, shipping, payment and return policies to list. Title, Description and Photo can be used from the Catalog. If you use our catalog search now, it’s how it works already for existing eBay Catalog Items.

Hi Jennifer,
Did you check the Category on the Item? Try selecting that again and see if it fixes the issue. If it doesn’t, open a support a ticket and we can take a look with a remote session if necessary.
Thanks,
John

Hi Andre,
Are you using the Small Business or above Subscription level? This functionality should only be hidden for the Home and Hobby version, or if it’s turned off in the User Permissions screen.

The Return Policy in Batch change only applies to eBay Business Policies. Since you’re using our presets, you’ll need to create named Payment Presets which contain the Return information and then you can use Batch Change on the Payment Preset field to update your Items and Listings.

Hi DrentonB,
These services aren’t currently supported via the eBay API, so we are unable to use them. They are only available on the eBay site.

Hi Cathy,
We currently support Ebay, Amazon, and Etsy. Since the new payment service isn’t yet in the APIs, you wouldn’t be able to use our Payment Presets to manage these listings.
Every time you Submitted, Revised or Relisted one, you would have to add that service via Seller Hub.
If you’re using Business Policies and have that payment service in your Payment Policy created in Seller Hub, you could use SixBit, as we only send eBay the Payment Policy ID to use for your listing, and not the actual details.

Hi Chris,
You can use the Item Research Window in the Edit Item Window. There will be a magnifying glass icon next to the Product Title and Product ID fields.
Clicking that should bring up the research window based on the contents of those fields, ie Title or UPC.
If you’re using the latest version 3.00.348, when you fill in the Item Specifics for Brand, it will check if eBay requires a Catalog entry for that Category/Brand combination and automatically pop up the Item Research window. It will also allow you to change the Search Terms directly in that window.

Any Item Specific can be used as long as the name doesn’t coincide with a field already in the list. Make sure it’s exactly as shown in the IS window.
[[Brand]] and [[MPN]] work here in my testing.

Hi Robert,
Brand and MPN should be included in the Item Specifics area if you want to use them in concert with a UPC.

Hi Kelly,
It looks like there was an issue with two Products in your cart. One has been refunded so you should have the Free Trial now.
Thanks,
John

Hi Thomas,
In the Advanced Search window, select “Any Item Specific” and then type the Item Specific you want to search for. In this case, Brand.

Older versions use the older WSDL. The field was removed from the newer ones, and unfortunately the newer ones have the new fields necessary for the slew of eBay changes rolling out this summer.
