We’re looking on improving the speed of the Item Specifics. It appears the recent changes eBay put in to require more Item Specifics are having an adverse effect on the Item window.

Hi Jolly,
The report issues were due to an update to the Telerik reporting control that was necessary for the 64 bit v.4.0 update. You should be fine to keep up with the latest releases now that you’re past that version.
Here are the latest release notes: https://www.sixbitsoftware.com:8080/robohelp/robo/server/general/projects/SixBit%20EN%20User%20Guide/Release_Notes.htm

Hi Kristian,
SixBit only works with eBay US, UK, CA and AU sites. We had looked into the possibility of support for eBay.de, but the language and site restrictions didn’t make it feasible for us to support.
Thanks,
John

Hi Penelope,
Ebay still isn’t returning the payment fee directly with the existing Order call, but there is a new API for us to integrate with to retrieve it. It should be out in an upcoming beta.
Thanks,
John

Hi James,
Let me tackle these one at time.
1. If you update Inventory with CSV, the eBay listings will update automatically in two cases: A variation Item will always send the latest totals to eBay and an Item with an allocation plan will run that allocation and update the inventory based on that plan. This will include multiple sites, ie. Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify if you’re using them and have allocations plans set.
2. The SET function will change the value on the last purchase record. Reconcile is usually the one you want to set the total # of Items on Hand.

If you’re going to do drop shipping, I would recommend subscribing to the Drop Shipper module. That way you can add inventory based on the Fulfillment source and use Purchase records separate for Self or Drop Shipper inventory. You can also specify which inventory to pull from first when new Orders come in. Drop Shippers can be automatically notified by email to ship to Buyers.
https://www.sixbitsoftware.com/EN/Drop_Shipping.htm
3. Where do you see the 0 total for variation items? The Stock Self quantity column in the Sell Items grid should show the correct total.
If you have any questions about the drop shipper module, feel free to open an support ticket and we’ll answer directly.
Thanks,
John

Hi Gary,
Did you try the editing fix Steve Lea suggested in the previous post? If that doesn’t work, open a support ticket and they’ll be able to help you directly with a remote session if necessary.
Thanks,
John

Hi Katrine,
We’ll take at look at this. Are you seeing a crash message that you could take a screenshot of?
Thanks,
John

Is your subscription showing correctly at the top of the SixBit window? Should still be visible under File|Reports|Sales Tax Report for Small Business and above subscriptions. The only other way to hide it is from the User Permissions if you turned off “Allow user to see Reports” in File|Manage|User Permissions.

Hi Robert,
If no Sales tax was collected by you, nothing will show in the report. We’re going to add a second report to show Site Sales tax collected, so you can put that in your records.

Hi Sally,
The Brand/MPN usage with ProductID is only to locate items in eBay’s catalog to get back a matched EPID. Yours won’t ever match eBay’s catalog.
Instead, set the Brand and MPN fields in Item specifics.

Hi Bruce,
The window will be resizable in the next release, 4.00.021 or later.

Hi Moe,
I updated the Beta Release notes to reflect those versions as well.

Hi Thomas,
It shouldn’t take that long for so small a file unless the hard drive is near capacity. Contact support via a support ticket and they can help you restore the database.
Thanks,
John

Hi Ross,
I just tested this here with the latest version 4.00.017 and it appears to be working correctly. Open a support ticket and they’ll remote in with you to diagnose the issue.
Thanks,
John

Hi Mike,
We don’t have that ability to turn on auto relist on eBay flag from within SixBit.
We do have the view in Check Items to find Items that are eligible for relist credit for ones that have ended and you can manually submit them again from there. If you’re on the Enterprise Edition, the allocation plans can be used to automate this process for you. The problem with the eBay relisting is that it will create a new listing and our import will have to match it to the correct Item in Sixbit to maintain inventory. There are some cases in which the connection isn’t made, so we prefer to do the relisting ourselves and keep the correct Item to Listings link.
Thanks,
John
