For any field in the CSV, you can specify <CLEAR> to clear it. I’ll update the CSV documentation to include that.

You should be able to set this on a Item template in the next version, 4.00.107 or later, and have it carry over to new items created with that template.
In the current version, only duplicating a previously set Item will auto fill that value.

Hi Edward,
Did you specify a default location when setting up your Business Profile? That will be used when creating new Items.
https://www.sixbitsoftware.com/forums/topic/item-location/
You can also specify additional locations if you wish to ship Items from there, in which case you can set them directly on the Items.

Interval scheduling is available in the Home and Hobby and above subscriptions. You can upgrade your subscription from the website and restart SixBit to run the upgraded version.

No, it shouldn’t affect you. After we remove it entirely from an upcoming build the warning shouldn’t show either.

Hi Dan,
eBay recently removed the Listing Designer functionality. Check in the Item Window in SixBit, under the Options tab in the eBay section to see if one of those was selected. We’ll be removing this from the UI in an upcoming version.
Thanks,
John

If the Shopify service doesn’t match one of ours, it will default to None. You can set up the Mapping options for these to default to another service.
We’ll look into breaking out the notifications by site too.

We do plan to include the same options for Item Searching from quick search in the Create Manual Order window. If you create the Order with the wrong qty/price, you should just have to delete the Order, edit the Item and re-create the Order from that Item again.
The inventory tracking is built in, and Orders can’t be created without them. I would suggest creating a template that you can use to create a quick item with default inventory, or keeping one Item around to duplicate for just this case.

We can look into it, but we would have to track all the methods of adjusting inventory. Currently we only save the last userid that updated the Item record, not the Purchase record.

Hi Albertine,
We’ll need more details on this issue. Could you open a support ticket?
Thanks,
John

Correct, these will still be used from the presets, only the Payment Methods will be superseded by Managed Payments.

Just an update, we were able to find the issue with the Restore in certain cases. We will have a fix out in the latest beta, 4.00.127, or later.
Thanks,
John

It should take a few minutes at most for the database itself. Is it also trying to restore an external picture folder?
If you open a ticket, our support team can check out if it actually completed and the UI is just hung up.

That’s true, if you turn off uniqueness, you would be able to check for uniqueness via the Duplicate SKU View but it’s not the same as locking it down.

In File|Options|Creating Items, SKU Management tab you can customize how the SKU is constructed, if they are unique, and if you want them auto-generated or not.
