We’ll look into including  ExternalItemID into the POs themselves and allow you to customize the subreports with any defined Custom fields. Just populate ExternalItemID with the Supplier SKU.  This should make it into a future beta, 4.00.160 or later.

Ebay changed the way they were proposing bundling, and now it is included as part of Item Specifics. In SixBit you can set the Bundle Listing Item Specific and then include another Bundle Description Item specific that contains the Items in the Bundle. Adding a Bundle Description Item Specific is done the same as adding any other Custom Item Specific in SixBit. https://www.sixbitsoftware.com/EN/Defining_Custom_Item_Specifics.htm

Notes for different records and different tasks. Orders and Shipments also have their own Notes. If you want ones that follow you throughout the Process, you can create Custom fields named the same in different Modes that will copy as Item becomes Listed, and as an Order is created from that. That way  you can attach details that you need when shipping something at the time of Item creation.

    Hi Chris,

This information is returned in an API we’re not yet integrated with. Out testing with Amazon is somewhat limited, but if we’re able to get this fee in the future, we’ll add it to the software.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi Reid,

We’ll look into pulling this info back in a future release. The ShopifyID should be stored in External OrderID, and in more recent releases, Site OrderID.

    Hi Judy,

The TL Migration Promotion ran from January until July, with TL being officially shut down on July 13. We did fix the links today to provide any new signups with the standard 30 day trial period. Open a ticket with support and they should make sure that is applied to your account. If you need any help getting set up, make sure you take advantage of Support assistance during the trial period.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi Walter,

If you run the Import from eBay, it should create the associated Listings in SixBit. Once the Check Listings mode is populated with Listings, you can revise the Item Specifics for those Listings and have them change on eBay.

    Hi Chris,

We should be moving from a beta to a Full Release this week. If you need the download sooner, here are the instructions:

To participate in the SixBit beta:

    1. Open the SixBit Options window.
    2. Select the General tab.
    3. Check “Notify me of interim beta versions until the next full release“.   This will begin notifying you of all betas until the next full release.  Once the next full release is installed, it will reset to the “Do not notify me of beta versions” option. This is intended to allow users to use betas when necessary, but return them to non-beta status when no longer required.  This is the recommended setting for beta testers.
    4. For users who prefer to beta test and always want to be notified of betas, check the “Notify me of all beta versions for all future releases“.  This will not reset the beta flag with each full version.
    5. In addition to the “Upgrade to X.YY.ZZZ” button described in the previous task,  an “Upgrade to Beta X.YY.ZZZ” button will also appear whenever a new beta is available.  Click the button and repeat the steps for a normal update.

    Hi Robert,

Currently the API doesn’t allow us to upload those offer specific issues.  If they do, we will add it.

    Thanks,

    John

Is the Mfg number also included in the Item Specifics section? That would have the multi select combo box. What category are you listing one of these in?

    Hi Gary,

The Mfg number should be a textbox, not a dropdown. Open a ticket with support for this one and we’ll take a look with a remote session if necessary.

Are you using Unique SKUs in SixBit? Having duplicate ASINs should be fine since the SKU is the primary check when pulling in Orders, ASIN is secondary. We can look into adding duplicate indicators for UPC and ASINs.

    Thanks,

    John

    Emily,

That is correct, since the same Item can be listed either as a fixed price or auction listing, all pricing fields are provided on the Item window, eBay tab for these. At submission, the Listing type is selected and the Listing record created with the listing type set and using the associated Item price fields.

in reply to: clearing out completed listings #13389

    Hi Lee,

No, you can’t delete the Completed Listings with removing the associated Item record. Completed Listings status in Check Listing is more for reference, but not usually used for normal workflow. The Available to List and Available to List, unlisted on eBay views in Check Items would be where you find Items you would want to list or relist. If you want to see recently Completed Listings, I would suggest creating a Custom View/Advanced Search in Check Listings for Listings with the Completed Status and an End Date within X amount of days. A quick small view, customizable to your needs.  Listings contain fees that are necessary for the accurate calculation of Profit/Loss and Item Performance reports, along with any associated sales that are tied to the Inventory purchase records. Likewise, if you were to delete a listing that ended, the Refresh/Import would pull these in automatically within 60 days, along with any Order that was removed and deduct them from the available Item Inventory.

    Cora,

Database size is usually 95% pictures, which is why we default to External Storage now. Pictures are linked to the Item records, so deleting Listings wouldn’t make much of dent in db size. With the virtualized grids, having extra Listings shouldn’t make much difference in performance. But if you have Items you no longer sell, delete those and you will free up space and remove the associated Listings and Orders.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Do you start each new listing from scratch, or do you duplicate from an existing one or use a template? Either of those options should carry over the field. Otherwise, to have it saved, you would need to save your current shipping preset information as a named preset, which can be used with multiple listings.https://www.sixbitsoftware.com/EN/Managing_Presets.htm#

The store category issue is something we would want to check out with a remote session, and we can also address the backup directory issue. We should be able to get everything resolved for you.  If you could open a ticket with support through the program, they will get you set up.

    Thanks,

    John
