    Hi Cynthia,

Are you using the latest full version, 4.00.245? Ebay deprecated the old Selling Manager calls on June 1, so we had to switch to a different API call to return shipping values. The new call only works for those enrolled in Managed Payments and there is an issue with the API not returning FedEx or UPS label fees attached to the Order. Those should come in as soon as eBay addresses that.

This should be fixed in the latest beta,  4.00.282.

    Hi Albertine,

The credit card option would be what eBay passed along and could be what the buyer is funding their payments with. Is your seller account registered with a different site than your SixBit database is listing to? If so, that could explain the failure to retrieve the correct setting and is something we’re currently working on. Open a support ticket and we’ll send you a beta when we have that resolved.

    Hi Albertine,

Make sure you are using the latest, 4.00.244. This warning message should be removed in that version. Let me know if you’re still seeing it.

Are the SKUs already on the Items or Variations? If you have a CSV of the SKUs you need  printed, I would suggest setting up a custom field boolean like “Needs Item Label”. On the mapping of the import file you could have the SKU as the identifier and the Needs Item Label field as the value being set. From there it would be easy to save an advanced search view that looks for that Custom Field with a true value and batch print labels from that View. Once done, batch change that flag to false. Support can help set this up with a remote session if you need more guidance. Just open a support ticket and reference this post.

Timothy, if the API returns an error for these we always show it, but if they return as warnings they should still list. There is an option to to turn off warning when adding or revising in File|Options|General|Error/Warning Handling.  Fixing the warnings now should keep you from being forced to later. Check Item Preview should always show Warnings and more detailed summaries.

There is some lag between eBay updating the API to remove Aspects violations, and we usually do a daily refresh to catch those. You can force it by using the File|Refresh| Sync Aux. function.

    Hi Chris,

There isn’t an direct command to update the IS XML, but if you have running listing for these Items, you can force SixBit to sync any that eBay may have automatically mapped with the category change. The function can be accessed in Options|General|Support Control as “Fixed dropped categories…” but it should also update the Item Specifics.

    Hi Mike,

It sounds like some aspects are now required. The listings should remain on site, but when you revise them, you’ll need to provide the new ones. If you open the Revise Window in SixBit, are any Item Specifics in the Required section empty? If you fill them in and have the checkbox in the lower right of the window set to “Apply to future Listings” checked, it should update both the Listing and Item record at the same time. This should also work with Batch Revise, but you’ll need to check which Item Specifics are now required in each category.

Looks like our functionality to automatically remap the categories that moved has issues when the old parent categories were retired. We’re working on getting this fixed and will have a hotfix out soon.

    Hi Jeffrey,

As part of eBay’s Spring Seller Updates, today (5/11/2021) is the day categories changed and Decorative Arts is retired.

This should also run daily from the background agent to keep categories and Item specifics up to date.

Where is the button greyed out? To force the category refresh, you can run Sync Aux Data from File|Refresh in the main menu.

Currently, on the “Ask Seller a Question” messages are supported, the ones that are specific to a running listing and can also be included in the listing. We do plan to support general messaging at some point in the future, but the API functionality is limited compared to the messaging capabilities on the site.
