Please open a ticket for this. We need this fixed, and I doubt anyone from SB will reply in this regard, here.
Clark, are you talking about the grid for variations?
If so…I totally agree. I hate that grid!
First of all, you cannot edit an image in SB, and hope that change will get pushed to AZ. SB doesn’t do that yet, and there’s been no expectations given to us by the Sixbit team, as to when we may get this feature. It’s dearly needed. Images can only be edited on AZ, for AZ listings, as of today.
As for the quantity going to zero, I suspect you have your quantity set to zero in Sixbit. Whenever SB updates a listing on AZ, SB sends ALL the fields again. Not just the field you altered. SB isn’t selective. That’s a major pain, IMO…but that’s what we have to live with for now. Is that a fix planned for the future? I’ve only been told “Perhaps”.
Couldn’t agree more, Bob.
The community is dead.
I wish they realized how much it’s hurting them, because the software is pretty unique.
I’m not feeling real warm and fuzzy about SB.
This forum software is so poor, compared to that they used to use.
Now they ignore this forum (they probably don’t like using it themselves), and a dead forum just gives the impression that nobody is using their software.
Just not good….
So, I’m not sure what you’re saying….
You want this feature removed from SB?
Or, you don’t know how to turn this feature off?
I’m right behind you, my friend.
Seems like I’ve been waiting forever for the SB team to add these features.
I believe the “2 photo” thingy, is only for non-new items.
I’m not just looking out for myself, Steve.
Sometimes things are about the Sixbit community.
I’m constantly confused why Sixbit pushes everyone to open tickets, rather that use the forum.
No wonder the forum is such a ghost town.
When I’m considering buying new software, one of the first things I do, is visit their forum.
If I see a forum, as unused as this one, I avoid the software. I assume nobody else is using it.
Please take this comment as constructive criticism….and not the wrong way.
I just think that it would benefit all of us, if Sixbit would encourage us to share more, and be more of a community, rather than everyone opening tickets in isolation.
Wow…I see your problem with eBay and sales.
What’s killing me on Amazon, is after every sale on Amazon, Sixbit automatically kicks in, and sends a complete refresh to Amazon for that item.
It’s ridiculous. Sixbit should only update the quantity, on Amazon, after a sale…and only the quantity….but it updates everything…including the price. The price hasn’t even changed, but Sixbit updates it anyway.
And, that breaks the auto-pricer, and turns it off.
So even tho the auto-pricer has lowered the price by a nickle (to keep us as the lowest price for that item on AZ), after a sale Sixbit kicks in, and jacks the price right back up !
And, to make matters worse, there’s no way to turn this updating off within sixbit!!
We are losing so many sales, I’m beginning to wonder if Sixbit is worth it.
Is this on eBay or Amazon?
Yes it is.
That SB “combine” feature, combines the orders within SB…..it’s not intended to echo that combining of sales, over on eBay.
The SB team will correct me if I’m wrong….
I’m pretty sure, that once the SKU is set, it cannot be changed within Sixbit.
I think the SKU is the unique record identifier.
For the rest of the community….
I got my answer.
When Sixbit reallocates quantities on Amazon, it doesn’t just update the quantity. Sixbit updates everything.
Therefore, it breaks the Amazon auto-pricer.
Sixbit realizes this is an issue, stating that it “may narrow the allocation update in the future”.
So, just so everyone knows…..the SB allocation agent, and the AZ auto-pricer, are not compatible with each other.
That’s a shame, because Amazon’s auto-pricer is such a great tool to keep our offers on Amazon, competitive.
Upon further testing, it appears to me, that as soon as a single item of mine gets sold on Amazon, Sixbit fires off the allocation agent, and updates the quantity on AZ, keeping it at the desired level. However, SB ALSO sends the price again !!!
There’s no need to send the price. The allocation agent, should only update the quantity.
As soon as SB resets the price, it breaks the Amazon auto-pricing agent.
I’m seeing that every single item of mine, that has a sale today, has also been removed from the Amazon auto-pricer.
John, can you confirm?
Thanks John….now, can you jump over to the User-User forum, and give a reply to my question regarding the AZ Auto-pricer?
