I completely agree.
I’ve never seen a forum so unused, as this one.
From the appearance of this forum, you’d guess they have about a dozen customers…but I know that’s not true.
I think it comes from:
a) Very poor forum software
b) Managements lack of encouragement to post up here
c) Lack of management participation
And, a+b+c comes from managements lack of understanding that a robust forum, can make a huge difference in whether a product sinks or swims.
I’ve tried so many times to get discussions going up here, by posting question after question.
When there’s no customers to continue the discussion, management should engage….but instead, they just let it die.
But, what can we do?
Nothing. Nothing at all.
Therefore, I’ve decided to leave the platform.
Recped is correct. There’s not an image on the web, that I can’t get a copy of.
I’m certainly not saying it’s proper, but no image on the web is safe from being copied.
I think it would be a waste of Sixbit’s time, to even try and prevent this.
If you’re trying to import variations, be very, very careful with how you proceed.
Why is that, aepa?
No. Sixbit does not do this.
Rather than starting with Sixbit as your base, and building from there…..you’d be best to start with Shopify as you base, and use ‘apps’ to get the functions you need.
Shopify has a huge apps library of add-ons, that will do exactly what you need….including the handling of variations (as long as they don’t exceed 100)
The process is to create a Shopify store, and then add their free Amazon channel….then you’re off and running.
For help on that frontier, it’s probably best to use Shopify’s extensive, and active forum (lots of interaction from management).
Even tho this forum is User to User, it’s probably a conflict of interest to discuss Shopify further, here.
Thanks for the heads-up.
I’ll stay away from .292.
I see they added support for Amazon AUS, which bewilders me, when Amazon US is so broke it’s ridiculous.
Sorry for your woes….I wish I could be of help….but again, thanks for the heads-up.
Wow….3 days now, with no response.
Anybody from management out there?
Thank you.
Is it considered a bug, that I can update the weight of my running eBay listing, but not my running Amazon listing (I’m the owner in both cases)?
If yes, can this be addressed?
If no, can this be placed on the feature request list?
Same question for MSRP field.
Wow…over 2 weeks? Damn, that must be a pretty nasty bug….
And, allow me to clarify, too….
I find Sixbit’s response times, to tickets, to be fantastic. The turnaround for many of my tickets is less than 1 day….sometimes, just a few hours.
I also believe most of do not expect Sixbit support to urgently reply to messages, here on the board. But, on the same hand, having questions up here sit for 5 and 6 days, without a single response from anyone on the Sixbit team, seems a bit abusive for paying customers, using a complex product to run a business.
We aren’t looking for immediate attention up here…..just attention.
John, please confirm:
1) If I change the weight for a running eBay listing, via the Specs tab, it will get sent to eBay. Yes/No?
2) If I change the weight for a running AZ listing, of which I am the owner, via the specs tab, it will not get updated to Amazon. Yes/No?
John, I asked two questions.
Which one are you answering?
I’ve had it happen, too….but then, I also had it happen inadvertently, with the previous beta.
I assume you guys have tried changing your refresh dates under the system menu?
Excellent!
Glad you got it solved.
Yes, try and use wrappers all you can.
Snippets are so wonderful, too. I use snippets in all my listings
I love that I can update a wrapper, making tweeks here and there, and then Sixbit will update all my listings, in the background.
At least, that’s how it works for eBay….Amazon is still a mess….
For anyone interested…..the answer is no.
Sixbit does not send any weight entered on the Specs tab, to Amazon (probably not eBay either).
Nor have I seen any indication that Sixbit plans to do so, in the future. 😉
