No, it has not.
I installed .108 days ago.
I fully understand the delay required for AZ.
“a person”, just chill a little bit…just a little.
What John is doing here, is a good thing.
He’s putting rules in place…that’s all. He’s not about to censor each and every post up here.
Rules give us boundaries, and keep us all cordial, and let’s us know our limits.
It’s hard to tell if you’re attacking John, but let’s assume you’re not.
All is good. John’s on the same team as we all are….and all of us wouldn’t be in this forum, if it wasn’t for him.
I, for one, do feel we owe him respect. You may feel otherwise….but John used a good word when he said “cordial”….let’s all practice that.
Thank you Mr. Slocum, for the reply.
I understand you guys don’t guarantee any response times….but as of last night, there’s questions/concerns out here that are over a week old, with no reply whatsoever…..
Indeed you are encouraging users to use the Ticket system, rather than this forum.
I’ve learned from the SB team, that the answer to my question, is “No….I cannot”
Umm Ok, thanks for the suggests, my friend.
“And on a different topic – I can’t get subscriptions to the new forum topics working…”
Either can I.
There’s a lot about this new forum I don’t like.
And the Ticketing software they’re using, won’t allow us to close tickets, if we’re using Chrome….go figure.
Thanks for the reply.
But, where do you see the “Talk to Developers” section?
From what I recall last week, “Beta Discussion” was under “Talk to Developers”. Now, I can’t seem to find “Talk to developers” at all.
Maybe I’ve just had a brain dead weekend….
I fully agree that User to User, should be exactly that…..Users, helping Users, with support chiming in, if they wish, and if they have time.
I’m just concerned that they’ve removed the “Talk to Developers” section, because they don’t plan on formally assisting users, via an open forum.
Sorry to report, as of 3.00.108, it still doesn’t work right.
So, I shouldn’t sell, what I don’t have in stock, eh?
So, “Made to order”, is a concept you’ve never heard of?
So, 30% of Etsy shop keepers don’t know what they’re doing.
So, those thousands of dollars I make on Etsy each year, from folks wanting custom cut wood, that they are willing to wait 1-2 weeks for……I should walk away from?
Why does Amazon have a “latency” field, in your opinion?
You subscribe to the concept of “Ship the next day, or don’t sell it”.
I’ve been successful to the point of not keeping up with orders, with the concept of “Simply set a customer’s expectations accurately”, and my business has exploded.
John? What say ye ?
Then, what am I seeing in this attachment?
I see it’s been days since you’ve posted this, Nancy.
I wish I had an answer for you, but I too would like to know the answer to your question.
I wish support would would monitor this forum…afterall, it is the “beta” forum.
The problem is, John….
If we delete those items, won’t we lose all our orders and past sales to those items?
I’d love to list to either eBay or Etsy first, but then how do we handle AZ? You don’t sell on all 3 venues, so you don’t understand.
It’s important to keep all 3 listings connected to the same database Item.
The best way to do that is to submit all 3 listings, from within the Sell Items grid….but SB doesn’t support creating new listings on AZ. Thus, we MUST create our AZ listings manually on Amazon, then let SB import the item, and finally post that newly imported item to the other 2 sites….keeping them all connected.
If this doesn’t make sense, then try this:
Create a new item in SB.
Load up your pics for that listing, in SB.
Post it to EB.
Then post it to AZ…..tell me how that goes.
Wow…of course…why didn’t I think of that?
John, you can go ahead and remove Latest Ship Date entirely….we don’t even need that.
Yes…I’m being sarcastic.
Most of my items are “made to order”. This time of year, when we are hit very hard with orders, with dozens coming in per day, knowing our Latest Ship Date (without running into AZ sanctions), is imperative.
