As a seller you understand that you price for the market, and as car buyer you know the price is not the price. I’m a customer making a feature request. I’m sure they have lots of market data I’m not privy to, but from where I stand there are huge numbers of small time sellers who sell on ebay and Etsy but who would never pay up $100 a month for a seller tool. I don’t know Sixbit’s business plan or market, but I wouldn’t be throwing away that whole market segment when the program has already been developed. Think of it like a multi-quantity ebay listing – you make it once and then sell as many as you can. This is a software program not a service, although they price like a service and I think they compare their pricing to other actual selling services.

Well my “cost” lies in whatever they say it is, the program contains the same code regardless. It doesn’t really matter why the current divisions are they way they are, the fact is a 286% increase is not reasonable pricing, and especially when it bundles unwanted features.

It’s important to realize the tranches they’ve made are arbitrary and don’t represent hard costs, and as such they can and should be adjusted to be more reasonable for the Small Business level. There are quite a lot of their customers that aren’t “Enterprises” in need of unlimited ebay accounts, unlimited simultaneous users, unlimited employee accounts, unlimited description wrappers, unlimited custom emails, or a suite of analysis tools, and yet at the moment Sixbit bundles and charges us anyway.

Thanks, I’ve just done both of them and I still don’t have anything in the dropdown. Maybe I need to submit a ticket.
