My pictures being uploaded are not failing right away but they are going VERY slow and random ones are failing with the error: Picture: 18240 failed to upload. Error: Unable to write data to the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Anyone else getting this error? I just upgraded to 3.00.380. When I was submitting listings last week there were no issues like this. So I don’t know if it’s something going on with eBay or with the new SixBit.

Thank you for any info you may have to avoid this error!

Hmm, it seems that using the Batch Edit Inventory option and selecting ADD instead of reconcile or set it works…. anyone have some experience with this? What’s the best way to batch add drop shipment inventory to new items?

Just a brief update on this for your information:
I have been in touch with eBay Customer support and the Motors Program customer support. Both of them indicated to me that by July 1, all eBay motors categories should have had the compatibility raised to 3000. However, I am still hitting the 1000 compatibility limit. The latest reply I received from them was this:
Thank you for checking in on this, this email and your last response has been routed directly to Merchant Support and is not being sent to the Motors Program Support anymore as the conversation had started with them. Another agent on our team in Merchant Support has reached out to the agents that you were originally working with to see about getting a resolution for you but has not heard from them as of yet. I have verified the issue that you are having by looking at the listing provided. I attempted to get the listing set up to accept 3,000 compatibility items instead of the 1,000 that it is allowing for this listing and I ran into the same 1,000 cap you were seeing. Going through our resources there should be the cap of 3,000 and not 1,0000. I know that you have been informed that this should change up to 3,000 but I could not find a time frame on that for you. I have CC’d the motors program support on this email so that they will be back on the thread and I am asking them if the compatibility chart can be taken up to 3,000 instead of the 1,000 cap. If this is not something that the motors support is able to do I would request a reply to this email to let us know so that we can go about filing a ticket on the issue to our tech team for the compatibility chart only allowing 1,000 instead of the 3,000 that it should. I do apologize for the inconvenience and I want to thank you for your patience throughout this matter. I am hopeful we will get a speedy reply from our motors program so that we can get the issue fixed or a ticket filed to our tech team as soon as possible. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great week of sales!
Thanks, Eric J. eBay Merchant Support

Any more updates on this SixBit? It is quite annoying because, for the categories that I sell in, the limit used to be 3000. Then, without warning, my EXISTING listings were truncated to 1000 when they were relisted (they are GTC listings). 🙁
I actually contacted eBay’s Motors customer support. Here is what they replied to me (two emails are copied below):
Email #1 – The compatibility limit depends on the category that an item is listed in. For some there is a 1000 cap and others it is a 3000 cap. However, this will be changing over the next few months so that all categories will have a 3000 cap.
Email #2 – There are some changes currently taking place in regards to the category caps, however over the next few months all categories will have the 3000 cap.
