    Hey Richard,

If you highlight all of your Running listings, right-click, select Revise, then choose in the Batch Change window under the Listing Fields tab, Description in the first drop-down, Replace in the second drop-down, HTTP with HTTPS.

This should update any picture URL’s that are set to HTTP to HTTPS then the remaining URL.

    Sincerely,

    Tammy,

I passed this along to our developers to take a look at and consider adding to SixBit.

    L Watson ,

The grid lines here are just very faint. You should still be able to resize the columns even in that theme. If not, you can open the SixBit Options (Application Menu (little orange guy (or the File button in the top left), top left corner of SixBit, choose Options), Look and Feel, and change the Theme Style to SixBit Classic.

Even though I do as Herb stated it is forcing me to do the same every time after I bring up my computer in the morning. I shouldn’t have to manually start this service every time. Why doesn’t Sixbit fix this?

    Christopher,

Anytime Windows Updates are executed it’s going to stop the SQL Server Instance service and perform the updates. You can try changing the Startup Type to Automatic(Delayed Start) on the SQL Server (SIXBITDBSERVER) instance to see if that resolves the issue going forward.

Aside from that, you can set up a task within Windows Task Scheduler if the above doesn’t work to have Windows run that task after a reboot to get the SQL Server Instance started back up. See the example screenshots attached to this response, let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

    Lynn,

This is possible to do. The recommended course of action would be to remote connect to your server/host machine to work on SixBit when you go leave your store.

There are many remote desktop tools out there to use like TeamViewer, ScreenConnect, Go2Assist, etc. you can look into using to accomplish this.

Please let us know if that does not answer your question.

    Jivko,

This issue has been addressed in the latest beta version 3.00.303. Upgrade to resolve this issue.

Please make a backup of your database before proceeding (We cannot stress making a backup of your database enough). To turn on the beta flag open Options | General tab and make sure the option **Notify me of Beta’s until the next full release is checked**. Download and install the latest Beta release from the Dashboard or the Support tab. Here is the manual link just in case: https://www.sixbitsoftware.com/download/beta/Install-SixBit-3.00.303.exe

Please let us know if that does not resolve the issue in a ticket to our support team.

    Art,

Python for .Net will get you what you want here. Or, you can look into IronPython as well. Take a look at these references below for more information:

    https://pythonnet.github.io/
    https://github.com/IronLanguages

You could probably do it in base Python but you would have to have knowledge of making calls, etc. It’s going to be a lot easier with a library made for .Net. Let me know if you need a specific example here using Python for a call to our API….I could probably get a developer here to whip something up quick for you to reference.

    Cynthia,

We just tested a QuickCam Pro 5000 and had it load up and work just fine here.

I would recommend putting a ticket in so that our Support Team can investigate this further.

    Cynthia,

Have you tried plugging in the camera and then restarting SixBit to see if that makes a difference? If so, are the drivers for the camera successfully installed?
