If I have data on my server from 2018, how can eBay manipulate that data without authorization?

I understand all new sales will have the @members.ebay.com e-mail address, but to retroactively change data stored on my server prior to the change seems unethical-

I can only assume sixbit allowed them access the data, did they know this was happening? (thanks for the heads up)
