When people are using RDP as a method for remote use please be aware it’s highly insecure. You are exposing your host system / network to viruses and particularly ransomware. Nearly all Ransomware propagates via RDP. If you have to use this method then you should have a robust backup system in place which includes cloud storage else you will loose everything.

Ebay want desperately to be Amazon. However Amazon are quietly sneaking into the Business market and looking at eBay’s dominance in the used market. Once Ebay make their sellers work to Amazons standard it’s not going to be hard just to shift business to Amazon instead of Ebay. Currently we have changed our process to use watermarks on only the first image and then having a copy of the same image with no watermark as the second image. We are reluctant to stop the watermarking because we get no end of people stealing our pictures. With the removal of obvious contact details I hope Ebay are prepared for the influx of support calls they are going to receive from people assuming they are purchasing directly from Ebay.

I can’t see that there is a quick fix for watermarks It’s on that picture permanently. We have our own watermark and we would have to remove each individually (around 4k). The whole thing is a massive pain in the ass and only serves to have our images stolen by other sellers who can’t be bothered.

    Hi,

We have all kinds of issues inputting a templates HTML into Sixbit. I believe the issue is with the WYSIWYG editor that Sixbit uses as standard. The issue was resolved by changing the default editor to text only. Going forward that is a real pain for us as most of our listing guys don’t know the first thing about HTML. I would try changing the editor and see if that helps you.

A road map of updates and integrations would be fantastic. I’ve seen many different suggestions for integrations and it’s normally answered with it being in future plans but knowing how far in the future that is would be good. It doesn’t help when Walmart is added to this list and seems to now be higher up the list than webcart integration. Is there no way we can have this road map of what is actually intended for future releases.

    Hi Sally,

Thank you for your reply and offer. Support managed to clear up the issue which relates to the WYSIWYG changing the code on upload. When we upload using the text editor it’s fine.

I really don’t like the idea of ‘support plans’ for software that is constantly under development. If people are testing beta versions of software it doesn’t seem fair to then charge to get a response about issues that are caused by the software and not by the user. We’ve always had decent support but maybe it’s just bad timing all of a sudden were having to chase for responses 2 days after the last response. Only to be told that your busy. That is something new and hopefully not related to the fact were not paying for support.

It’s not 100% clear if these plans are for all queries even those that are caused by the software or if they are for help with 3rd party issues.
