Setting the Consignment Plan on a Sale

By default, the consignment plan assigned to the item will be assigned to any sales for the item.  The consignment plan on a sale can still be changed after the fact from the sales grid on the Edit Order window.    In the Sales grid, you can see whether the sale was consigned, the consignment plan, the consignor paid date, the consignor notified date, the commission and the total consignor charges.  In addition the consignment plan can be changed on the sale if the consignor has not been paid yet.

 

Occasionally there may be a need to modify the consignment plan after a sale occurs.    This may be due to an initial error or a renegotiation between you and the consignor.

To change the consignment plan on a sale:

  1. Open the Ship Orders mode.       How?How? From the Mode selector in the lower left, choose Ship Orders.
  2. From the grid, select the order for which the consignment plan will be changed.
  1. Double-click the row or click the Edit Order button to open the order record.
  2. Right click the sale in the sales grid and choose Change Consignment Plan

 

  1. Select a consignment plan from the popup and click OK.  The consignment calculations will then be recalculated.
